Regular octagon, showing one of eight isosceles triangles, whose base is a side of the octagon, and apex the center of the octagon. A perpendicular of height h is dropped from apex to base, dividing the triangle into two equal right triangles, one of which is colored aqua. The angle subtended at the apex of the aqua triangle is x radians. The length of the base of the aqua triangle is one over two to the power (n+1).
